RagabStudio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Taqwa on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial worship and learning. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app itself, except where permitted by applicable law.
Prayer times and qibla are CALCULATED ESTIMATES. They depend on your location, the calculation method and angles you select, and astronomical models. They may differ from your local mosque or religious authority. Always verify prayer times and qibla with a trusted local source, especially for time-sensitive worship. Taqwa is a helpful tool, not a religious authority or a substitute for scholarly guidance.
Qur'an, tafsir, hadith, du'a, i'rab, qiraat, the Zakat calculation, and other religious content are provided for personal benefit and are sourced from recognized references. The Zakat calculator and any rulings shown are general aids, not personalized fatwa or financial advice. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that any content is free of error. For religious rulings, consult a qualified scholar.
Taqwa connects to third-party services to deliver some content (see our Privacy Policy) and may link to external sites and stores. The Nearby Mosques feature uses OpenStreetMap data, and choosing "Directions" opens an external maps app (such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third party, including map data and directions.
Some features (such as voice search and the experimental recitation check, "tasmeeʿ") use your microphone only when you activate them, and speech is processed by your device. Experimental features are provided as-is and may change, behave imperfectly, or be removed.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. Some features depend on an internet connection or third-party services and may be unavailable from time to time.
Taqwa is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of prayer times, content, or calculations, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RagabStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any missed prayer, reliance on calculated times, or loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
These Terms are governed by the applicable local laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
